Grow your blog 2014 - GIVEAWAY!

Welcome to the second annual "Grow Your Blog" hop created and hosted by the rather lovely Vicky Boster of 2 Bags Full.

My name is Nelly, short for Penelope, occasionally dubbed Smelly Nelly or Penelope Ploppity Pitstop by my nearest and dearest. I do NOT smell out of the ordinary however!

For me blogging is a way to connect to like-minded people where we share our art, crafts, recipes, stories and a little bit of our lives.

I'll keep this short and sweet because there are over 500 blogs to visit in this event (click on the image above to see the full list) so how's about a GIVE AWAY!

My favourite supplier on Etsy is Unkamen Supplies - a wonderful source of chain maille supplies and kits, so .....

Prize = $25 (US dollars) Unkamen Supplies gift Certificate

All you have to do is leave a comment to say hello and tell me your favourite online or Etsy shop. (PS if your favourite Etsy shop sells gift certificates I am more than happy to change the prize to on of those for you.

Draw will close midnight AEST February 14th 2014 and the winner announced on the 15th February.

Good Luck!

  3. How very nice, Nelly! I love the seed bead necklace. I look forward to your tutorial, it looks like a beginner beadweaver such as myself could do it. I just checked out the Etsy shop to which you are offering a gift certificate. It has wonderful supplies. I'd love to have a chance to win. I haven't got a giveaway for my GYB party post, maybe I'll add one later. While you are on Sunday, enjoying warm (hot?) weather, it is a wintry Saturday afternoon here, and I'm trying to keep warm. :)
Stop by by blog anyways to see what I do with beads.

I think I first visited here during Alenka Obid's Blogoversary event, and it's so nice to be here again :) Your giveaway is quite clever! I would have difiiculty choosing just ONE supplier. I very much love the unique ceramic beads of Canadian Ingrid Mueller (https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/potterygirl1). Do check her out! I am also doing GYB and having a giveaway, so drop by when you get a chance, Nelly!

  13. I have so many favorite shops, but I really love Kristi Bowman designs and all her copper components. I've only done one chainmaille piece, but would like to do more. It's just hard to find the supplies where I'm at. I started blogging to get to read new ideas and people and see amazing creations.
    Thanks

  26. Hello Nelly, I went to reply to your lovely comment on my blog which you left re the GYBP, but you are a No Reply Blogger, so I was not able to do that. Good luck with your sewing class. Hope you enjoy it. And great to see another Aussie blogger! Your give-away is a generous one, but I really don't do any jewellery, so would have to opt for a fabric store. I have never bought from Etsy, and in fact your link was the first time I have ever visited one! Bit challenged in that department LOL
